Piesport, Germany

After walking around Detzem, we drove to a scenic overlook of Piesport on the Moselle River:

I think we could have stayed there all day and watch the water flow by. We ended up going for schwenkbraten at a weinfest in nearby Minheim.

    That looks pretty impressive actually.

    As an Army child Kerry spent a portion of her childhood in Germany. She keeps bugging me to go back their on a holiday.

    This was my fourth trip to Germany in the last 20 years and I have yet to be disappointed! I would love to take my family over there.
